Okay so you are probably asking what I am referencing to with "offering service to customers" or simply becoming a middle man for someone.  There are many people that offer services such as web design, accounting services, ghost writing, email marketing, network marketing to say the least and they are looking for customers.  Some don't know how to find these customers and some don't have the time in their busy schedule to wear ten hats in their firm.  So this is where you come in.

You find someone that needs a service done.  Let's take email marketing.  Someone needs to build up their email list because they sell um, handmade leather belts right.  Your job is to find someone that has experience in email marketing with proven success and present this to the person that makes leather belts.  You put your price on top of what the service provider (email marketer) charges, and when you get paid for the service, you then turn around and pay the email marketer, minus your fees charged.

So your question now is, where do you find places that can fulfill these services right. Here are a few places that offer services.  Do your diligent research and make sure they are reputable.  One way you can do this is by checking their rating.  Almost every website has a rating system and reviews by past customers letting you know their experience.

You can go to your local mom and pop shop and offer these services or you can post your ads on craigslist.org or free classified websites letting people know you offer these services.

When you start selling on Ebay, you have to build up your feedback. That is one of the MOST important things to do on Ebay.  See you are trying to establish yourself as a trusted seller on Ebay.  Search Ebay for .99 cents item and purchase 20-50 of them, however much you can afford.  After you purchase the item, go back and leave a positive feedback for the seller.  The seller will in turn leave a positive feedback for you as well.  See on Ebay, feedback is feedback, whether you are selling or buying.  When you start out, people will not really buy from you if you have no feedback or just one feedback.  They will look more to the person that has more feedback than you.

What I am doing that is helping as well is I will place cheap items on my ebay site and ask my friends and family to purchase them and leave me a positive feedback as well to boost my ratings.  Another good tip would be to do a garage sale on Ebay.  Everyone has something in their house they have not touched for forever, why not make some money off of it.  Make sure you take good clear pictures and place up to 3-12 pictures of the item if possible.  Ebay looks for sellers with up to 12 pictures of their items.  Be descriptive and make sure you state your shipping terms as well.
 
Ok, so Ebay works hand in hand with Paypal.  When you start an account with Ebay, you have to open up a Paypal account; this is where people will pay you for the goods they brought from you.  I would suggest  for accounting purposes, you open up a new gmail email account to use for this purpose only. 

The first 30-90 days on Ebay and Paypal is what I call the 30-90 day probation period.  You will be in what I refer to as Paypal jail for 30-90 days.  What does this mean?  Paypal and ebay works hand in hand.  When a buyer purchases an item from you on Ebay, they would pay using your Paypal email address.  After this Paypal will inform you that the buyer just paid you, however, you funds are not available for you to use yet for about 15-21 days because you are in probation.  This is Paypal protecting the customer by making sure that they don't get stiffed.  Don't panic.  This is normal.

You have to use your own money to front and pay for the product.  With this in mind, if you don't have capital, don't post items that cost too much where you can't cover the fees.  Well that should get you started.  Good luck on your journey.  For more training, click this link.

Learn how to copy and paste on Ebay.  My friend was always boasting every time I called her of all the sales she was making.  Sometimes I called her and I would hear CHA-CHING in the background and her screaming.  So me, I am like what is that sound and she says I am glad you asked.  So she told me that she takes items from Amazon and sells them on Ebay for a profit.

Having a Mentor To Help You Succed.

Having a mentor to help you succeed throughout life helps out a lot.  If allows you be accountable for your goals.  Starting off as a newbie, especially in network marketing, internet marketing or MLM, direct product sales, whatever field you choose to take, having a mentor helps out.  Sometimes it is a make it or break it point for some people.

Some people can go through things by just winging it, and following the blueprint others need someone to hold their hand and walk them through each step.  Regardless of what category you fall under, a mentor helps out a lot.  Having the proper training when you join a business opportunity helps you to become successful in your field.

Austin Zulauf once told me "become a professional in your profession."  I believe with proper training, the desire to succeed, and the drive to succeed, this can be accomplished.  Most of all, people just want to know that they are not joining something and will be left high and dry after they pay their fees with no training and duplication system to follow.

How do you find a work from home company?

Well, this question may be a hard one for some and an easy one for others.  To me it depends on the individual.  You have to ask yourself, what are you looking for?  There are different types of what is considered "work from home."  Are you looking for a position with a company, however, you do it from the comfort of your home? 

Are you looking for a "work from home job" that deals with telemarketing, inbound or outbound; are you looking for a job where you can serve as a research panel for companies.  Do you want to do affiliate marketing or simply copy and paste ads and get paid marketing other companies?  Do you have a skill that you can provide to people such as graphic design, ghost writing, social networking, the list is long and the problem is, you can get lost searching for "the one" that would make a difference to you financially and give you the freedom you are looking for.

There are just as many legit companies out there as there are scams.  Just be careful when looking for one.  One thing that I have learned in my search is beware of the companies or people that want to sell you that pipe dream of you will make 5k in one week.  Enough with that already, but people still fall for it, because you need the money right now, and you get that bill money and tell yourself, if I could invest this $99.99 into this company, and its the 1st, then by the 30th, I would have made my money back and some. 

I have been there, I have done that.  Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not, but be careful, because there are sharks out there preying on people that are desperate, or what did this one guy say "that are hungry," that was the terms he used.  Yup I was got that time, but I learned my lesson.  We all do from trials and error.

Where Do I Start...

So where do I start.  My name is Rahil, and I am a mother of two beautiful children.  One is in college and the other in elementary school.  Okay, before you start, yes I waited and had another child 12 years apart, so as I was sending one of to college, the other was going to 1st grade.  Tell me about it, there went my retirement plans.  I am suppose to be traveling the world, sight seeing beautiful places by now.  Do I have regrets, no, I don't.  I love my children and I do my best as a single mother to raise them the best way I can to prepare them for the world.

I always had and still have a desire to be self-employed, working from home or setting my own hours.  I have ventured down this road for many years searching just like many for that one product or company that can bring me the capital to support my needs financially so I can provide my children the time they deserve, be it football camp, basketball, track, you name it, I keep him busy. 

Since 2005, the year my son was born, I have did work from home companies such as west at home agent, arise and ventured into some other as well, however, although I have some friends that still work for these companies to this day, for me, I found that it still constrains me.  I felt like I was working a 9-5 at home instead of feeling like I was working around my sons schedule.   I also began blogging in 2009 and started learning about keywords, adwords, and really signed up for almost everything and became overloaded.

Last year in December 2013, I decided to begin my search again for work from home companies that I can do that would give me that time and financial freedom that I need.  I told myself this time I would venture into 3 different companies and test the waters to see what would be a good fit for me to do.  I also did not want to put all my eggs in one basket. 

Putting all your eggs in one basket is not a good thing, however, I learned the hard way that when you start out, you have to put all your focus in one basket, build up that company to where you want it to be, become established by branding yourself, and then after that, you can venture into other companies and have multiple streams of income.
